

Knitting in the Round with Magic Loop

Class Description: Students will be learning the magic loop technique while knitting the Spice and Clove Pumpkin pattern from Knit Picks (free pattern).
Instructor Biography: Mariah Stanford is a knitter with 15 years of experience who has always loved sharing her craft with other people. She prefers circular needles and to have at least three different projects on her needles. If Mariah is not knitting you’ll find her in the garden, baking in the kitchen, or gaming with her friends.
Prerequisites: Students should have basic knitting experience: cast on, knit, increasing (kfb), decreasing (k2tog), and bind off.
Homework: None
Length of Class: 3 hours
Class Fee: $25
Materials Fee: $10 (optional – needed if student does not bring supplies)
What do I need to bring? If student does not purchase a materials kit they need to bring 1 skein of any sport weight yarn in a color for a pumpkin and 1 skein for the stem. Size US 2 (2.75 mm) 32″ or 40″ circular needle.
Maximum Class Size: 10 students
Target Age: Ages 15 and up
