Have you been wanting to learn to spin but don’t know where to start? This class is the perfect introduction to spinning your own yarn!

Class Description: Students will receive a drop spindle that will be yours to keep as well as the fiber for learning how to spin. Ellen will start at the very beginning so no experience is necessary!

Instructor Biography: Ellen Anderson of Aboundingful Farm is a Shepherdess, Spinner and Fiber Artist from Lebanon County, PA. She lives on a small farm raising Angora rabbits, Angora goats, Leicester Longwool and Romeldale/CVM sheep. Ellen has been spinning for well over 20 years and has been teaching spinning for over 15 years. You will find her spinning at her local fairs, the PA State Farm Show Fiber Arts Education booth and at other events sharing her knowledge and love of fiber and fiber animals to anyone who wants to to learn.

Prerequisites: No experience needed, just an interest & willingness to learn to spin.

Length of Class: 2 hours

Class Fee: $30 (includes all materials needed – spindle and fiber)

Material Fee: None

Maximum Class Size: 10 students

Target Ages: Ages 15 to any age adult.
