The Farmers Daughters is a group of friends from Wayne County PA who
originally got together to supplement practices for the Old Time Fiddlers.
They soon began learning new songs – and a new instrument – for the nursing
homes that they visited regularly. Their songs and waltzes, jigs, and
square-dance tunes are not really new; most are either older than dirt or
old-fashioned. The group plays fiddles, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and
ukuleles, and sings in church-inspired harmonies. They love keeping
traditional music alive and invite you to tap your toes and sing along.

Lighten Up! is a musical variety act that delivers sweet harmony across many
styles of music. You will hear Classic Rock, Blues, Country, Bluegrass,
Swing and Americana Roots music ranging from the ragtime of the 1920’s and
in every decade up to current chart pop songs. Tight vocal harmony and
arrangements are the hallmark of this band.
